- S/V Cape St. James
- Cape St. James is a 48 foot sloop rigged sailboat. In 1997 we set sail from Seattle, Washington and headed West completing a circumnavigation in 1999 upon our return to Seattle, Washington.

Hey Jim-Bob,
Not positive about this but I just found out that Mineral Oil is the same thing as Liquid Paraffin - just in case you need lamp oil and want to save some bucks. It you try it and it doesn't work, at least it's got another use.

"Don't eat the pudding". Ran a test on Mineral Oil as a cheaper replacement for Liquid Paraffin. Wikipedia is WRONG! Mineral Oil will burn the wick down at an amazing rate. So save your Mineral Oil for other things....
